Former Roma president Rosella Sensi, daughter of Franco Sensi, spoke out in the aftermath of the Giallorossi’s decision to sack Daniele De Rossi.
With a post on Instagram, Sensi questioned Roma’s decision and wished Ivan Juric – who will be appointed as De Rossi’s replacement – the best of luck for the season.
“I’m surprised, and also saddened,” wrote Sensi. “It really hurts to see Daniele De Rossi removed from Trigoria for the second time.”
“I know how bad he feels right now. I don’t judge other people’s management or choices, maybe it wouldn’t even be right.”
“But I feel like giving all my support to a man who is not just a symbol of this club. But he is also a serious and prepared professional. My sincere wishes of good luck now goes to Ivan Juric.”
“A difficult task awaits him and I will always be on the side of those who wear those colours.”
