Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa may soon chose to depart the Bianconeri club in favor of…Roma.
The Italian winger has been at the forefront of transfer rumors linking him with a hypothetical move to Roma.
Chiesa’s initial intention to renew his contract with Juventus seems to have lost momentum.
In fact, the player is reportedly considering not pursuing a new deal in Turin and choosing to move elsewhere instead.
According to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, Chiesa felt Juve’s lack of confidence in him in recent months and is now interested in becoming a key player for a club that would be ready to include him as a cornerstone.
Moreover, Chiesa is now considered by Juventus as a fundamental piece whose sale could fund their own transfer targets.
Chiesa’s current worth is estimated at €25 million – a fee Roma are more than willing to match this summer.
Roma boss Daniele De Rossi is very fond of Chiesa and considers him an ideal fit for the 4-3-3 system he intends to rely on in the upcoming season.
The player, on the other hand, has had contact with De Rossi and would be keen on working with him.
The Giallorossi would happily satisfy all of Chiesa’s demands and fulfill Juve’s request for him.
