Federico Chiesa is on his way to becoming a new Roma player.

The Italian winger is nearing a move to the Italian capital after the Giallorossi expressed interest in him earlier in the year.

With Juventus putting him officially on the market, Roma have made the decisive step in negotiations and seem on the verge of completing a deal for the 26-year-old.

As reported by Il Romanista, Roma are closing in on a permanent deal for the ex-Fiorentina.

The capital club are in advanced talks with Chiesa’s agent and Juventus and a deal is expected to be sealed for a total of €20 million plus add-ons.

Roma and Juve are currently negotiating the bonuses involved.

Talks are on-going with the objective of turning Chiesa into a new Roma player under De Rossi’s orders.
