Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa has become Roma’s priority signing for this upcoming summer.
According to today’s Corriere dello Sport report, Daniele De Rossi has specifically asked the capital club to begin targeting Chiesa and his entourage ahead of the summer window.
The ex-Fiorentina man is considered to be the ideal reinforcement for De Rossi’s squad.
The newspaper claims De Rossi personally reached out to Chiesa and the two held a conversation about the possibility of working together in the Italian capital.
Chiesa explained to De Rossi that he is ready to talk about a possible transfer.
His contract with Juventus expires in 2025 and he has not yet reached an agreement for its renewal. He now earns €5 million plus €1 million in add-ons but would like an upward adjustment: hence the stalemate with Juventus who would instead be willing to negotiate an extension on the current figures.
