Former Roma defender Federico Fazio – now one of the key players in Davide Nicola’s Salernitana – briefly commented the importance of tonight’s season opener with Roma in a pre-match interview with DAZN.
“This is a huge game for us,” said Fazio when asked about the feelings of getting to play yet again in Serie A after managing to avoid relegation in the final matchday of last season.
“We must get off to a good start,” he continued.
“Tonight we face a great team, but we feel confident because we have our fans cheering for us, pushing us to play well.
