Juventus defender Federico Gatti will be unavailable for the upcoming Serie A fixture with Roma.

Juventus announced on their official website that the defender, who left the field early in the match against Genoa, suffered a compound fracture to the diaphysis of his left fibula.

He will be out for a month. The Bianconeri team, therefore, loses an important piece of its back line before a direct clash for Europe.

“Federico Gatti, who left the field during the first half of the match against Genoa following a severe contusive trauma to his left leg, underwent diagnostic tests at J | Medical this morning.

The radiological tests performed revealed the presence of a compound fracture of the diaphysis of the fibula.”
