Flamengo are not giving up easily on their talented fullback, Wesley.
The player is being courted by Roma and Everton – the two clubs owned by the Friedkin Group are working in synergy to complete his transfer.
The idea would be for Everton to sign Wesley on a permanent deal and then loan him out to Roma.
In the meantime, reports from Brazil, S1Live in particular, claim that Everton’s first offer for Wesley was turned down by Flamengo.
