Sources from Austria are linking Roma with a renewed interest in Salzburg defender Strahinja Pavlovic.

According to Austrian newspaper Salzburger Nachrichten, Roma are among the clubs to have asked for information for 23-year-old Pavlovic.

The Giallorossi’s interest in Pavlovic dates back to last year when the capital club were first linked with him.

However, Pavlovic has caught the attention of several other European clubs including Juventus, Brighton and Fenerbahce.

It is not the first time that the Serbian has been linked to Roma and more generally to Serie A teams. In 2019 (when he was still playing Partizan Belgrade) he failed to pass his medicals with Lazio.

Now, the player is pushing to leave Austria and Salzburg is already looking for valid alternatives to release him as early as January.
