Turkish outlet gsgazete.com has reported that Roma tried to acquire Galatasaray central defender Marcão during negotiations for Steven Nzonzi. Reportedly, Roma sporting director Gianluca Petrachi tried to bring the Brazilian defender to the capital by offering the Istanbul-based side €10 million plus Nzonzi. Galatasaray, however, ultimately rejected the offer.
