Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini addressed the media during today’s pre-match press conference.

The Italian technician previewed the match with Inter.

“Dybala had two good weeks, they were useful for him as well as for everyone else who remained. We had two excellent weeks of training.”

“Everyone talks about the Champions League objective because it brings in a lot of money. Everyone participates with that purpose. There are technical objectives that are different from the financial ones that need to be evaluated on a game-by-game basis. I’m sticking to those.”

“At this stage of the championship, the most important thing is performance, because it helps you achieve good results. We’re working to get closer to those who are ahead of us.”

“We’ve all formed our own opinions about the squad’s strengths and weaknesses. We hope to improve our team. As for results, we hope to maintain this trend. Performances are what count the most.”

“Tomorrow we will meet a team that has great value, but it is also a great challenge for us, to measure ourselves and see how competitive we are.”

“Pisilli is a player with great prospects, but at the moment he has strong players in front of him and they are the ones playing.”

“We have a very strong group that’s consistently delivering results and performances. Now we’re getting Dybala back, Bailey and Pellegrini soon. Ziolkowski has already made his debut. It will take more games to get better performances.”

“I hope for a tactical and personal approach. We need to do well in every aspect. I expect a very determined Inter side, eager to recover points and restore the league standings. They’ll come here to win.”

“I didn’t expect to lose Bailey for two months. The injury, unfortunately, took a long time. Luckily, we’re close to his return, a matter of a couple of weeks. It will still take time to adjust, but he can help us.”
