Roma kicked off the new season under Gian Piero Gasperini, who secured a valuable victory against Bologna on his debut as Giallorossi coach.

This victory isn’t entirely new for the veteran technician, who has always been accustomed to starting off on the right foot.

According to data provided by Opta, Gasperini earned his tenth win on the opening day of Serie A, a feat that places him second in a special ranking.

In his career, only Giovanni Trapattoni has achieved more, with 12 wins.

Gasperini also has ten wins, alongside Nereo Rocco, a renowned name in the history of Italian football.
