Gasperini is already looking ahead to the January transfer window.
The Giallorossi coach has begun discussing the team’s needs with the club, requesting reinforcements to broaden his options.
The goal is to have a deeper squad, especially to manage the tight schedule between the league and the Champions League, which have put a strain on rotations in recent weeks.
As reported by Corriere della Sera, Gasperini has asked the club for two reinforcements ahead of the January transfer window.
The coach is already pressing management to secure new additions that can expand the squad and provide him with more options for the second half of the season.
The past few weeks, marked by various physical issues, have limited the coach’s options, forcing him to part ways on several occasions. This situation has further highlighted the need to intervene in the transfer market to increase rotation and better manage the schedule.
Sporting director Tony D’Amico is already working to identify the right players to meet the coach’s requirements.
The winter transfer window opens in several weeks, so management still has time to evaluate potential deals and try to achieve their objectives. Gasperini’s intention, however, is clear: to have two new players available to face the second half of the season with a more complete squad.
