The international break comes at Roma’s best moment.

The Giallorossi are tied at the top of the table with Napoli and will face Inter on their return.

Gian Piero Gasperini, as reported in La Repubblica, is planning a friendly during the international break, as he did last month, to test the team and allow those not called up to maintain their match pace.

In addition to Paulo Dybala and Matias Soulé, Wesley will also remain at Trigoria; the others will have to wait about 10 days.

Gasperini will try to defend the lead they have achieved in recent matchdays, while Dan Friedkin will attempt to further strengthen Roma’s position in European football.

The Giallorossi president will attend the ECA meeting as a member of the executive committee.
