Roma defender Gianluca Mancini publicly called out La Repubblica journalist Marco Juric.
Earlier today, Juric published a story claiming Mancini had questioning Daniele De Rossi’s decision-making in the aftermath of the match with Cagliari.
In an Instagram story, Mancini denied this, calling out Juric and asking reassuring the fans of Roma’s integrity inside the dressing room.
“I am very sorry to read the story published in La Repubblica by Marco Juric,” wrote Mancini.
“I never questioned the manager’s choices and I never will. There was never any argument with the coach.”
“Roma is a serious thing and we treat it with respect and you are asked to do the same, without having to make up false stories about episodes that never happened only to create confusion around Roma.”
“We are sorry for how the season started but we remain united and focused on the match in Turin. Forza Roma.”
