Roma defender Gianluca Mancini received a special message from the Curva Sud in the aftermath of last night’s 1-0 win over Genoa.
The Italian centreback was among the members of the team who went around the Olimpico, applauding the home fans for the support of this long campaign as last night marked the final home game of the season.
The Curva – who consider Mancini a pillar of the team – gave him a card with a special message on it:
“When the night is dark and the winds are blowing against you, do not fear. Look to the right and smile: we will be there with you.”
Mancini’s wife posted a photo of this message on her Instagram stories.
