Roma defender Gianluca Mancini may get a chance to feature for the first time for Italy in the Euros.
With Riccardo Calafiori suspended for Italy’s upcoming match against Switzerland in the tournament’s Round of 16, Mancini is the most probable replacement of the Bologna centreback.
According to Tuttosport, Luciano Spalletti recently tried Gianluca Mancini alongside Alessandro Bastoni in a 3-5-2 formation.
He is currently favored to start ahead of Torino’s Alessandro Buongiorno.
