Legendary Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon paid some compliments to his former Italy teammate and close friend, Daniele De Rossi, for his work as Roma’s head coach so far.
Buffon gave an interview on the sidelines of the ‘Premio Bulgarelli’ event.
Among the various topics covered, the former national team goalkeeper spoke about Daniele De Rossi.
“I was certainly not surprised by how I saw him carry himself as a man, I was sure of his empathy in certain contexts, especially in Rome.”
“But if there is one thing that impressed me it was the finesse of some tactical readings in the match, how he manages to make the team express itself and in what condition he has put the individuals in order to make them play to the best of their abilities – this deserves all the great recognition he is receiving.”
