Pisa head coach Alberto Gilardino discussed his team’s narrow defeat to Roma.
“I think the picture of the match is very clear,” Gilardino told Sky Sport at full-time.
“We played a great first half in terms of intensity and play, we were compact between the departments and worked very well defensively. At the start of the second half, we lost ground a bit, our intensity dropped, and Roma’s quality came out with Soulé and Dybala.”
“We woke up around the 75th minute and, in my opinion, we played a great final part of the match.”
“We’re disappointed because it’s normal to feel bitter when you lose. We need to build on the good things we did.”
