Roma have been linked with Santiago Gimenez.
The Mexican striker was named as a possible replacement for Artem Dovbyk who remains on the capital club’s transfer block.
Initially, Roma even considered swapping Dovbyk for Gimenez.
However, Matteo Moretto reports that the ex-Feyenoord man is not keen on leaving Milan and wants prove himself in Massimiliano Allegri’s eyes.
Meanwhile, Milan could target Dovbyk independently of a deal involving Gimenez.
