Mats Hummels was Roma’s last minute hero in Thursday night’s 2-2 draw at the Tottenham Stadium in London.
It was the German defender’s goal that helped Roma level the score at the 91st minute.
Despite a complicated start to life in Rome, Hummels can now smile as Claudio Ranieri seems to be keen on involving him more in the team’s plans going forward.
After the match, Hummels expressed his delight with the result and his involvement in the match.
“Finally something went into the right direction,” wrote the veteran centreback on Instagram.
