Despite a crucial error that led to an own goal in his first outing with Roma, Mats Hummels is looking to make his debut appearance at the Olimpico tomorrow evening.
The German veteran, in fact, is projected to feature in Ivan Juric’s starting line-up.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, with Hermoso suspended and Gianluca Mancini coming off a particularly negative performance with Fiorentina (which reportedly culminated in a harsh exchange of words with Juric at halftime), Hummels is currently the favorite to start alongside Evan Ndicka.
Juric is hoping that Hummels’ experience and leadership can help Roma get out of the difficult situation they find themselves in.
