The agent of Roger Ibanez has stepped in to clarify his client’s future.
The Brazilian defender had been recently linked with Roma – the club where he spent four years between 2019 and 2023.
With the arrival of Gian Piero Gasperini, a fast and aggressive defender is needed and Roger Ibanez’s name was put forward as an option Roma could pursue.
The former Roma number 3 currently plays in Saudi Arabia at Al-Ahli.
Retesport recently contacted the defender’s agent, who promptly denied a possible return of the Brazilian.
“Impossible,” responded the player’s agent when confronted with the rumors.
At the moment, therefore, this path does not seem viable.
