Manu Kone had been famously pursued by Inter this past summer.

Corriere dello Sport recounts the brief negotiations between Roma and Inter for Koné.

The Frenchman had been open to a move to the Nerazzurri, hoping the deal would take off quickly.

However, the Giallorossi refused to sell him, and the deal stalled there.

It remains to be seen whether the outcome will be the same next summer, when, as is well known, Roma will need to achieve capital gains, especially if they fail to qualify for the Champions League and fail to secure a sponsor.

In addition to Inter, PSG is also keeping a close eye on the midfielder.

However, Roma have made it abundantly clear they will not consider offers lower than €55 million.
