The Giallorossi consider Jimenez a suitable reinforcement for Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma are one of the three clubs to have asked for information about the 20-year-old.
Como and Bournemouth are also involved in the race.
To confirm the transfer rumors, Milan excluded Jimenez from the squad list for tomorrow’s match against Lecce.
