Out-of-favor Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout could make a surprise return to his former side Fiorentina after spending the last three years in the Italian capital.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Frenchman – who signed with Roma in 2019 after completing a move away from Florence – is thinking again of representing La Viola colors.
Veretout is currently considering a few options including a return to France with Lyon and Marseille both interested in the midfielder.
However, the player could ultimately prefer staying in Serie A with Fiorentina having already inquired about him in recent weeks.
