Former Roma coach Jose Mourinho was quick to dismiss links with some of his ex-players from the Italian capital.
The Special One was appointed Fenerbahce’s new manager in recent days.
Mourinho’s welcome was held in the club’s packed stadium in front of a dedicated audience of loyal fans.
After the presentation, which was held on Sunday, Fenerbahce organized Mourinho’s first press conference today.
The Portuguese technician had the chance to address some of the questions from the media including ones concerning the Turkish club’s transfer signings.
With great anticipation, Mourinho was asked about the recent rumors swirling around which linked him with the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Paulo Dybala.
When asked about the possibility of seeing these two players join his ranks in Turkey, Mourinho was curt in his answer.
“I have no interest in the players of my former club, Roma,” said Mourinho.
