The difficulty in securing Dibu Martinez has prompted an initial call: Juve has offered €40 million for Svilar, writes Il Messaggero.

Roma’s position, however, is clear for now: the Giallorossi club doesn’t want to sell the player and would only begin discussions if an offer of €50-55 million were to arrive.

A figure that doesn’t currently appear to be within the Bianconeri’s reach.

Furthermore, Gasperini considers Svilar a cornerstone of this team and appears to have no intention of letting him go in the year of their return to the Champions League.

Updates also arrive from Matteo Moretto. According to the journalist, Juventus has contacted both Roma and Svilar’s entourage.

The Giallorossi club would like to keep the goalkeeper, also in accordance with Gasperini’s wishes. Roma, however, is expected to sell a key player by today, which is why Juventus wants to understand the terms of the former Benfica player’s exit.
