While Roma are battling it out with Juventus and Como for a spot in next season’s Champions League, with the Giallorossi and Como tied on points and the Bianconeri one point behind, the transfer market is intertwined with the ongoing league season.

The next round is already crucial, with Roma playing in Como after their European trip to Bologna, and Juventus in Udine, the first match of a crucial Saturday in the race for the most coveted and richest European competition ever.

In short, no one can make mistakes between now and the end of May.

As Tuttosport reports, Spalletti is also eyeing Roma for the future of Juventus, specifically two free agents.

The first has been in his sights for some time: Celik, whose contract with Roma is expiring and he’s yet to renew.

The Turk is considered an alternative to Kalulu, thanks in part to his versatility. Spalletti is evaluating every option, and among the names being considered is Pellegrini, who has the same contractual situation as Celik.

If the number 7 doesn’t renew with Roma, he would be released on July 1st and ready for a new adventure. However, it remains to be seen whether he will return to Italy or not.
