Khéphren Thuram is nearing a move to Serie A although Roma may not be his next destination after all.
The Giallorossi emerged as potential suitors in recent days due to Florent Ghisolfi’s connection with his former club.
The French executive maintained positive relations within Nice’s management and was hoping to utilize this to his advantage in potential negotiations for Khéphren Thuram.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Thuram is a target for Roma’s midfield but the player does not seem too keen on joining the Giallorossi.
Instead, the newspaper reports that Thuram has already given his OK for a move to Juventus.
The player’s entourage are in advanced talks with Juve who are now leading the race.
The Bianconeri hold an advantage over Roma in the form of their Champions League participation which Roma cannot offer.
Inter Milan are also said to be in the race for Thuram – with his brother Marcus already on the team.
Nice’s reported pricetag is around €25 million.
