Manu Koné played an excellent first half against Fenerbahce, as did the entire Roma team, who went into the dressing room with a 1-0 lead.
However, the French midfielder’s second half lasted just eight minutes.
The 2001-born player was substituted in the 53rd minute, replaced by Niccolò Pisilli.
Gian Piero Gasperini explained the reason for the change: “Manu left the pitch with a physical problem. He missed the second half, but perhaps we would have suffered anyway.” The French midfielder’s condition remains to be assessed.
His condition will be evaluated. The 2001-born player risks missing the away match against Torino, scheduled for Monday, September 14th at 6:30 PM. Updates on his recovery time are awaited. Meanwhile, the Giallorossi team will return to training tomorrow morning ahead of the next league match.
