Lazio defender and former Roma man Luca Pellegrini did not sound too happy with the 1-1 draw in the Derby della Capitale.
After the match, Pellegrini spoke to the media.
“I’m happy for the assist,” he said. “On the other hand, unfortunately, we didn’t take advantage of all the opportunities we created during the match.”
“We have to hold on to the positive things: these are situations that help us improve, grow in our way of seeing the game and make the most of the opportunities.”
“But, I repeat, I’m happy: it’s an extra assist. I would have preferred not to do it and win the match.”
“Roma created little, certainly less than we created. Unfortunately we lacked concreteness. Games, especially at the end of the season, are like this: if you don’t score, if you don’t close the game, you risk conceding one. Especially in a derby.”
