Leandro Paredes is set to continue representing the Giallorossi colors.

Last night, Claudio Ranieri’s Roma were defeated 3-1 by Milan, thus exiting the Coppa Italia. A disappointing evening for the Giallorossi, a little less so for Leandro Paredes.

With yesterday’s performance, in fact, the Argentine midfielder reached the minimum number of appearances to activate the automatic renewal of his contract until June 2026, reports journalist César Luis Merlo.

A mechanism similar to that foreseen in Paulo Dybala’s contract, although for Paredes there is still a fundamental requirement missing: European qualification, with Roma having to reach at least the Europa League.

At the moment, the team is ninth in the standings with 31 points, 9 points behind fifth place, occupied by Juventus, a position that would currently guarantee direct access to the competition.
