Leandro Paredes expressed his confidence in Roma’s abilities after tonight’s win over Frosinone.

Despite a poor start the season, Paredes sounded optimistic in his post-match interview when asked about the club’s objectives for the season.

“We knew that we only had one result in mind and that was to win at all costs, we had to find confidence and in the second half we did well, we are happy with the result,” the midfielder told DAZN at full-time.

“I’m slowly getting better and better, I already feel good and I think we can all improve together. We can do much better, we have a lot of quality and we will try to improve as the season continues.”

“We have a lot of room for improvement, not only defensively but also offensively. We want to work and improve, we have young players who can help us and others with experience.”

“I think it is correctly to believe that we have the team to fight with the top teams. We know that there are strong teams, but we also have a team that is ready to compete with the best.”
