Leandro Paredes has taken time to reflect on his future.

The Roma midfielder was recently approached by a Saudi club who offered him a huge contract.

After an impressive season back in the Italian capital, Paredes was able to revitalize his career which had suffered at PSG and Juventus.

While away on international duty with Argentina, Paredes has asked his agents for time to reflect on the proposal from Saudi Arabia, reports Corriere dello Sport.

The Argentine has another year on his contract with Roma, but a renewal is not on the agenda.

Because in addition to the significant salary he has also entered an age group that for the new management clashes with the new Giallorossi project made up of young players and potential assets for the future.

Paredes has taken his time, he is discussing it with the agents and his family. The offer that came to him from Saudi Arabia, specifically from Al Alhi, is monstrous and perhaps happens once in a lifetime, something the player is highly aware of.

However, his bond with Daniele De Rossi cannot be ignored: the two are close friends and De Rossi was able to put Paredes in a position to succeed, making him a pivotal player in Roma’s starting line-up.
