Lecce executive Pantaleo Corvino commented the recent rumors linking Antonino Gallo with a move to Roma.
In a recent press conference, Corvino cleared the matter and addressed Lecce’s busy summer.
“Sometimes some of the news that come out are false. Now we can neither confirm nor deny any outgoing transfers.”
“Gallo? We don’t need to give in, but if a player asks us to leave we certainly won’t force him to stay,” he said.
“We don’t want any unhappy players. We certainly don’t have the possibility of increasing the wage bill, so whoever wants to leave will be satisfied, as long as Lecce is also satisfied.”
