Roma resumed training yesterday at Trigoria ahead of their trip to San Siro against AC Milan.

The atmosphere remains calm after the victory over Parma, but Gasperini is called upon to resolve a major doubt ahead of the big match.

Dybala and Soulé remain untouchable in attack, while, as reported by Corriere dello Sport, there are plenty of options for the third spot: among the most widely considered options is moving Cristante up to the attacking midfield, a role in which the former Rossoneri player excelled during his time at Atalanta.

Alternatively, Gasperini is considering returning Pellegrini to the starting lineup: the midfielder, who sat on the bench against Parma, hopes to return to the forefront in Milan, in what was once his home stadium.

Another possibility includes Dybala in the false nine role, with Soulé and Pellegrini supporting in a fluid system, lacking any reference points for the Rossoneri defense.

El Shaarawy and Bailey remain further down the pecking order, the latter coming off a lackluster performance.
