Lorenzo Pellegrini is expected to be back in Jose Mourinho’s starting line-up on Sunday.
The Italian midfielder has now recovered from a calf issue that had forced him to forfeit the match against Spezia.
Over the last few days Pellegrini trained on his own, but earlier today the club captain was reintegrated with the rest of the team and will regularly take place in the team’s starting eleven in the upcoming big game with Napoli at the Maradona stadium on Sunday.
