Roma’s new season officially began today. This morning, the team gathered at Trigoria for the start of their summer training camp under new coach Gasperini.

Only Lorenzo Pellegrini was missing.

The Giallorossi captain recently underwent septoplasty, reports SiamolaRoma.it

The procedure was aimed at repairing an old nose fracture.

Pellegrini, who was already at Trigoria in recent days, decided to undergo the procedure to improve his physical condition and prevent any complications.

Septoplasty is a surgical procedure aimed at correcting a deviated nasal septum.

Despite the procedure, Pellegrini is expected to make a rapid recovery, and there are no plans for a prolonged absence from the field.
