Former Roma manager and current Italy head coach Luciano Spalletti went over his rapport with legendary Giallorossi captain Francesco Totti.
In an interview on Cinque Minuti for Rai 1, Spalletti said, “I liked to think that my destiny was entrusted to the quality and magic feet of Francesco.”
“As the years went on I made a few considerations and then we cleared things up and hugged again, now we are best friends again,” said Spalletti.
“Let’s say there was a communication blackout that messed up the situation, but I want to point out that I made all the decisions with Roma in mind. There was nothing personal against Totti.”
