Roma are planning to revolutionize their defense with the imminent arrival of Gian Piero Gasperini.
The likes of Marash Kumbulla and Mario Hermoso are expected to be evaluated following their return from loan.
Gasperini will then make a decision on the defensive targets that Roma shall pursue in the summer.
According to Il Messaggero, the top names for Roma are Leonardo Balerdi and Jhon Lucumi.
The former is a difficult target given Marseille’s demands – over 30 million euros.
Meanwhile, Bologna’s Lucumi represents a more viable option given he has only one year left on his current contract.
However, Lucumi has already attracted interest from Premier League and Napoli.
