Former Roma manager and current PSG boss Luis Enrique touched upon Daniele De Rossi’s unexpected ascent as Giallorossi head coach.
In an interview with AS on Twitch, Enrique was asked whether he’d seen De Rossi’s Roma play in recent weeks.
”Yes, and I really liked what I saw, but what I heard Daniele say I liked even more!” said the Spanish technician.
“I like to see my former players become coaches and achieve success. I like De Rossi’s style of play, I like his character, his personality, I liked him a lot even as a player.”
“When I was in Rome we had a great relationship, I really wish him the best,” concluded Enrique who trained Daniele De Rossi at Roma between 2011 and 2012.
