Another record for Donyell Malen who was back on the scoresheet this evening.
The Dutchman scored the opening goal in the away match against Lecce.
As reported by OptaPaolo, with tonight’s goal Malen has scored 18 goals in his first 20 appearances in Serie A.
In the history of the Italian top flight, only Nordahl (20 goals, in 1949) and Altafini (20, between 1958 and 1959) have done better in the same number of games – 18 also for Borel (between 1932 and 1933).
