Roma aren’t worried about Donyell Malen’s fitness.
The Dutch striker didn’t travel with the national team to recover from a knee problem that prevented him from working with his teammates at Trigoria in recent days.
The 1999-born striker, however, will be in Como, and there’s no doubt about his presence.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Malen used the break to recover from his knee problem, remained in the capital, and has since recovered from any discomfort.
The Dutch striker will return to the group tomorrow, when Roma returns to training at Trigoria after the three-day rest granted by Gian Piero Gasperini, to work alongside his teammates.
The former Aston Villa player will go through a typical week before appearing at the Sinigaglia stadium for a challenging match. Barring any unexpected setbacks, Gasperini will rely on Malen as the first point against Como.
