Donyell Malen has been named “EA SPORTS FC Player of the Month” for February.

The Dutch striker, who joined Roma during the winter transfer window, has transformed Gian Piero Gasperini’s attacking play, scoring six goals in seven appearances.

In his four February matches, Malen scored four goals, including braces against Cagliari and Napoli.

The award—which will be presented at the Olimpico on Sunday, March 22, 2026, during the pre-match press conference for Roma’s match against Lecce—places Malen ahead of Berardi, Carnesecchi, Dimarco, Kean, and McKennie.

Regarding the award, Lega Calcio Serie A CEO Luigi De Siervo commented: “Donyell Malen’s impact in the Italian league has been simply perfect. The Dutch international immediately fit into Coach Gasperini’s tactical schemes, proving himself to be a relentless striker in front of goal, but also capable of tying together the team’s attacking play.”

De Siervo continued: “Having arrived in the winter transfer window, Malen took a few weeks to establish himself as a key player, immediately earning the Player of the Month award for February with four goals in four games and immediately proving himself worthy of Roma’s Champions League ambitions.”
