Marco Baroni is no longer the coach of Lazio.
After a disappointing season, which ended with the failure to qualify for the European cups, Lazio announced their separation from the coach, who arrived on the Biancocelesti bench last summer.
The club announced it through an official statement on their website.
“S.S. Lazio thanks Marco Baroni for the professionalism and commitment shown at the helm of the First Team. The Club wishes the coach the best of luck in his career. Thank you Mister” – it reads.
Taking the place of the former Lecce and Hellas Verona coach on the Lazio bench will be Maurizio Sarri.
