Mats Hummels is reportedly looking for a move to Serie A after concluding spell with Borussia Dortmund.

Hummels, one of the most sought out free agents at the moment, is said to have opened to a transfer to Italy.

According to Sky Sports DE, the German defender – who recently featured in the Champions League final against Real Madrid – is pondering destinations outside of the Bundesliga.

Hummels has already made it clear that he wishes to stay in Europe and will not consider proposals from MLS or Saudi.

However, a sensational renewal with Borussia cannot be ruled out in the event of Terzic’s departure: it was the player himself who confirmed this to his club.

Relations between the two are tense and according to what the broadcaster itself reports, in the end Terzic should stay. But nothing is certain yet, for the coach and consequently also for Hummels.

Hummels himself pointed out he would prefer to stay within close range of Germany, possibly Italy where Roma and Milan are the two clubs to have shown interest in him.
