Roma are reportedly planning to pick up talks with Mats Hummels.
In recent hours, the Giallorossi had put negotiations with the German defender on standby as they worked to resolve issues related to Chris Smalling’s exit.
According to Leggo, there was a request for alleged back payments from Smalling which Roma’s management were able to resolve on Monday evening.
As a result, now Roma want to intensify their talks with Hummels’ entourage in order to sign him as soon as possible, preferably by the end of the day since tomorrow the Giallorossi will have to deliver the final UEFA list for the Europa League campaign this year.
Hummels is in talks to join Roma on a one-year deal with an option for a second season that becomes active upon his fulfillment of 50% of all appearances.
