Roma will likely have to look for a replacement of Leandro Paredes.

The Argentine appears to be headed back to Boca Juniors who will activate the player’s release clause in the coming weeks.

As a result, Roma have turned to Matt O’Riley of Brighton.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, O’Riley has become Roma’s new priority for the midfield.

The Dane is highly appreciated by Gian Piero Gasperini who already wanted to recruit him at Atalanta.

Despite having joined Brighton just one year ago, O’Riley is on his way out and could consider a move to Serie A.
