Australian goal-keeper Matthew Ryan is looking at a chance to make his first appearance for Roma tonight.
The veteran shot-stopper in fact will likely replace Mile Svilar in goal as Roma are set to face Sampdoria in the first Coppa Italia match of the season.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Svilar needs the rest since the defeat to Como caused him to flip out against his own teammates – a clear sign of frustration mixed with fatigue.
Ryan will thus in all likelihood start tonight after sitting on the bench for the entire first of the half of the season.
