AC Milan continues to pursue Matias Soulé.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Argentine winger from Roma is on the Rossoneri management’s shortlist, but they currently have no intention of rushing ahead.
The deal could only take off under certain conditions. AC Milan would consider a move in the event of a loan with an option to buy or following a significant transfer. At the moment, however, neither of these scenarios appears to be materializing.
Roma, in fact, is only willing to let Soulé leave permanently and continues to ask for around €35 million. This valuation is currently holding the Rossoneri back.
Much will also depend on Rafael Leao’s future.
The Portuguese is significantly closer to a permanent deal than he was a month ago, and without him being sold, it seems difficult to imagine a major new investment in the attacking department after the over €70 million already spent on Gonçalo Ramos.
